Whew! Is it me, or has this year been over loaded with failure, achievement, frustration, hope, disappointment, encouragement, blindness, enlightenment, opportunity, and adventure? “Intense,” is an understatement!
As I “emerge” from beneath my pile (new career, new city, unfinished projects, parenting, etc.) I am catching a glimpse of things I really want to invest my time in. Things that are going on, and things yet to happen. One thing I am eager to re-focus on is the ongoing development of this rag-tag bunch of Baptist dreamers & idealists.
In keeping with the “New Years” theme of goal-setting, i.e. resolutions. I believe we (Baptimergents) should set some goals for ourselves, both personally and collectively. Understanding the nature of our timeĀ constraints, I will be keeping my goals to one-a-piece, and encourage you to do so as well.
My Baptimergent goals are:
1. Personal = Make regular posts on this blog
2. Collective = Organize a Baptimergent gathering in 2009. (Most likely on the back of another conference.)
Do you think you can set some Baptimergent goals? If so, share them in the comment section.
